Glasgow head coach Franco Smith told Premier Sports: "The rain that came down before the game made it even more complicated. Well done to the boys, we knew we'd be good in the second half if we stuck to our guns.

"We did well keeping them out at the end of the first half. In general it was a great physical effort and the boys applied themselves well tonight.

"We said that if we get the ball, we're not going to give it back to them easily and that paid off.

"The recovery will be important. We've planned it already and the menu we need to get through is shorter. I want them as fresh as possible but everything is planned."

"We carried the ball well, we have all season. We just asked the guys not to go off-script. We didn't want to give them broken play. They'll keep giving us the ball and we'll do what we need to do with it."

Glasgow's player of the match George Horne tells BBC Scotland's Andy Burke: "We've got the beenfit of having this [weather] all year. We do a lot of work on it, kicking into the wind, so I'm chuffed.

"They're an unbelievable team, so physical. Our big men up front were unbelievable. They stood up to every test. The Stormers were battering at the door and we held them out. Credit to everyone.

"As a group, we've not been great at this year - when the going gets tough we've gone into our shells. Sione Tuipulotu was barging down doors, Seba [Cancelliere] doing what he does, and that was a huge moment for us. I'm glad they're on our team.

What a way to end it! Glasgow are through to the semi-finals to face Munster.

They've finally ended the quarter-final curse and they ended up doing it in style. It was tight until the final 10 minutes when they showed a clinical edge.

It wasn't the best performance from the Stormers, but the physicality they showed was immense. Glasgow matched them though.

Glasgow had a penalty and kicked it into the corner, but it went out for a Stormers throw.

But... he wasn't five metres. It's a Stormers penalty. Party pooped.

It's been scrappy, extremely physical, but this slow-burner of a quarter-final has exploded into life.

Stormers have finally started to show their teeth in an attacking sense, but how much will they rue Manie Libbok's calamitous performance off the tee?

Glasgow's response has been excellent. They have got themselves back into Stormers territory, the crowd are up and if they can get the next score the semi-finals will be within touching distance.

A midfield scrum goes down and it will be a Glasgow penalty 50 metres from the Stormers try line. Far too far to kick in this wind, and Tom Jordan nudges it into touch.

They're on the edge of the 22m, and the throw is good. The maul is good too, it rumbles on and leads to another penalty.

That's Glasgow's most dangerous weapon and it's the first time they've used it tonight.

Glasgow are only three points ahead and need to show more composure. The scramble defence has been pretty decent.

What's interesting is Stormers are kicking everything and giving Glasgow chance after chance to put them under pressure.

They're trying to force Glasgow into making a mistake and for me that's not a pro-active way to win the game.

Tom Jordan just burst a lung hitting a gap. This game has been breathless to watch, I can't imagine playing in it.

Another few changes to tell you about for the Stormers. As mentioned, Paul de Wet is on to replace Herschel Jantjies, while Sti Sithole is on for 39-year-old Brok Harris.
