Midfielder George Saville and goalkeeper Liam Roberts are to leave Millwall at the end of the month after both failed to agree a new contracts with the club.
Saville made almost 250 appearances for the Lions across four spells and last reed the club in July 2021 from Middlesbrough.
The 32-year-old Northern Ireland international played in 45 out of 46 of the club's Championship matches in 2024-25, scoring one goal.
Saville said in a statement that the decision came "with a heavy heart".
He added: "I didn't think this day would come so soon but that's football and I'm looking forward to my next chapter. I'll be ing you guys from a distance."
Saville first moved to the Den in 2013 aged 19 on loan from Chelsea and again on loan from Wolves in 2015, before making the move permanent two years later.
He transferred to Middlesbrough in 2018 for what was then a club-record fee, before returning to Millwall three summers ago.
"We offered George a new deal that reflected the role we saw for him moving forward, but in the end, we couldn't quite reach an agreement," said director of football Steve Gallan.
"We completely respect his decision and wish him nothing but success wherever he goes next."

Roberts made just six appearances for Millwall in all competitions
Roberts, 30, who arrived at The Den on a free transfer from Middlesbrough a year ago, made six appearances for the club in all competitions, two of them in the Championship.
The last of those six games was Millwall's FA Cup fifth round defeat to Crystal Palace in March – during which the goalkeeper was red-carded for his infamous head-high challenge on Eagles forward Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Roberts, who apologised to Mateta after the Frenchman was hospitalised and received several stitches to his ear, became the target of what Millwall described as "abhorrent" online abuse in the wake of the incident.
His automatic three-match ban for the sending-off at Selhurst Park was also doubled.
Roberts, who spent four years as Walsall's first-choice keeper before moving on to Northampton, Barnsley and Boro, said: "I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the fans, my team-mates and all the staff.
"My family and I were shown incredible during one of the most difficult times in our lives, and we'll never forget the kindness and care we received from everyone connected to the club. That will stay with us forever."
