Kirkgate: Derelict building collapse prompts road closures

A derelict building has partially collapsed in Leeds city centre, prompting road closures and a warning to the public to avoid the area.

Emergency services, including specialist rescue teams, were called to Kirkgate shortly after 16:00 BST on Friday

West Yorkshire Police have asked people to avoid the area while emergency services carry out their work.
